General Discussion / Re: He not been around much

I feel a lot of love in the room...
In life, we are each lucky to have friends, and it's sad to say, but true friends are really hard to find these days. In farrider, I found a true friend who, though we have a few policy disputes in politics, is ALWAYS reasonable and honest. I feel very lucky to have been able to call him friend for more than 20 years, and have met so many fine folks here and in all of the forums we have all gathered at these past 20 years. You are all special to me, whether or not we agree on the current state of our dysfunctional current government.

Everybody, please stay safe, wear a mask, they're not just to protect yourself, they most importantly are there to help protect everyone around you that you may unwittingly spread the virus to. If we are past the point of caring about our fellow man, then KapperDog is right, we're as doomed as the ancient Romans were once the writing was on the wall...

We all better get used to masks, social distancing, and fighting to stay alive, because we blew our best chance to contain and control this beast, Trump's incompetence has cost a lot of lives, and will damn sure cost many, many more. Now the pendulum has swung over to killing his own supporters off, so some of those who wanted to kick some ass for being told to wear a mask are now pointing guns at those who are not NOW wearing a mask, and telling them to wear one.

I'll be right there fighting along side of you xman, nobody is taking away my right to defend my family and my home, and to hunt my food, or shoot my targets.
Make no mistake about it though, we are in the midst of the most perilous times of our Republic, and it may well come to blood in the streets, because Trump will finish the sell out of the whole country if Putin threatens to expose everything there is in his kompromat file. Trump doesn't want you to know that he isn't a billionaire, that all the money he had came from his Dad, and he went bankrupt 6 times, with Daddy bailing him out most times, but he walked away on the rest of them, leaving thousands of contractors without a penny for their hard work to make money for him...
If you disregard his 30,000 lies since taking office...and consider some of the things he said he was doing that he actually DID do, and you don't see that he is tearing this country apart, then I feel sad for you, friend. It sure wasn't so very long ago that the Republican Party heralded itself as the Rule Of Law party, but ya'll are just fine with putting a mobster in the White House just as long as he's white.
I always said that I would never be one to say "I told you so", but with Trump I am going to make and exception. When everything comes out about his corruption and his criminal dealings with Russia, Putin, and the Oligarchs, and you see how close we are to being taken over by Russia, if we survive this, and you see Trump finally for the criminal he is...I'm gonna say I told you so.
In the mid to late 80's, I had in my hands evidence that was placed on desk of the agent in charge of the investigation into Russian money laundering in NYC, and when confronted with it, your hero Trump punked out and flipped. Yep, he was a paid informant for the FBI, and that's just the tip of the iceberg folks.
For those of you who have told me that you're fine with it if he did make a deal with Russia to win the election...let;s see how much you like it if Putin moves into the White House without a shot being fired, and speaking of without a shot being fired, did you know that private citizens are not allowed to own guns in Russia? You love to roar that the Dems want to take your guns, which we don't, but Putin won't let you own ANY of them, so you've got that going for you...

Sam's Club is still limiting it to one package per member per week, being tracked by computer so that you don't try to sneak back in the next day just to buy another pack of the precious white paper, LMAO!

I'm going the Filipino way, washee washee, no ticky no laundry, LOL!

Recently, Filipino/American comedian Jo Koy published a public service video on YouTube about the toilet paper shortage, proclaiming that Filipinos are not worried because they don't WIPE their asses, they WASH their asses! This is an excellent point, why wipe, when you can WASH, the end result is a much cleaner tush!

First comedian I I heard give ass advice was the late great Redd Foxx, who proclaimed: "You got to wash your ass"...he would not date a woman with a stinky ass, and no woman wants to date a man with a stinky ass, so...
Wash that ass!!

Who needs toilet paper! Waste of money!

That is sad news, he went out in the best way possible, in his sleep. Hospitals and Doctors suck more and more as we get older, and it really hits home with me that even with a fractured pelvis he wanted to refuse the hospital trip. Rest in peace JJ...

Filipinos are not worried about toilet paper shortages. They believe, why wipe when you can wash!

Reach over to the sink and grab a handful of hot water and wash your ass, LOL!
It's gonna be like Red Foxx used to say: "You got to wash your ASS!"

Seriously though, if we continue to model the situation in Italy, we may also be forced to shelter in place for a few weeks to try to stop the spread, and if we are, one would be shortsighted not to compile a reasonable amount of food supplies.

"Deadwood" the movie, has all the cast from the TV series, but it's a full length movie that's fairly recent I think.

Happy 29th Birthday to my little buddy, Farrider!

May the bluebird of happiness fly up your nose,
May the beer you drink curl your toes,
We hope you had a wonderful day,
and later tonight you get some play,
a snuggle, a kiss, a moment of bliss...
more corny poems, just like this.

All the best little buddy!
