Let 'er rip gentlemen and ladies...

Former CIA Director John Brennan is very disturbed by a new report from The New York Times, which says last week, members of the House Intelligence Committee were warned by an aide to Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire that Russia is actively meddling in the 2020 campaign in order to get President Trump re-elected.

"We are now in a full-blown national security crisis," Brennan said. "By trying to prevent the flow of intelligence to Congress, Trump is abetting a Russian covert operation to keep him in office for Moscow's interests, not America's." Brennan served as CIA director from 2013 to 2017.

The briefing was delivered by Shelby Pierson, one of Maguire's aides known for her blunt delivery, the Times reports. When Trump found out about the briefing, he was livid, and complained that the committee's chair, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), will "weaponize" the intelligence against him, a person with knowledge of the matter told the Times. On Wednesday, Trump announced Maguire is being replaced by U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, a Trump loyalist.

Jim Jordan, Ohio Congressman...Come on down, you're the next lying thieving Republican to be dragged screaming AND crying into the light of justice!

Ohio congressman and former Ohio State assistant wrestling coach Jim Jordan has been accused of participating in the cover up of widespread sexual abuse in OSU's wrestling program.

Jordan was accused by Adam DiSabato, who was the team captain in the late 1980s and early 1990s. DiSabato was appearing in front of a hearing in the Ohio legislature as a witness for House Bill 249, which would waive the statute of limitations and allow the OSU athletes who had been abused to sue the university.

DiSabato told the House Civil Justice Committee that several team officials, including Jordan, were aware that the team's open shower facilities put them at risk of being abused and harassed by a team doctor, but did nothing about it. Then DiSabato detailed a phone conversation between him and Jordan, in which Jordan asks DiSabato to help him cover up wrongdoing.

Via Cleveland.com:

[DiSabato] also said Jordan called him repeatedly in July 2018, after media outlets quoted his brother, Michael DiSabato, saying Strauss' abuse was common knowledge to those surrounding the wrestling program, including Jordan.

"Jim Jordan called me crying, groveling... begging me to go against my brother...That's the kind of cover-up that's going on there," he said.

"Are you guys going to do what you're voted to do?" he told lawmakers later. "That's the only reason I'm here."

Jordan's name has already come up in this scandal numerous times. When the news broke in April 2018 that Dr. Richard Strauss had been accused of sexually abusing over 150 OSU wrestlers between 1978 and 1998, Jordan denied knowing anything about it, despite being an assistant wrestling coach from 1987 to 1995.

Jordan continued to deny having any knowledge of student sexual abuse even after independent investigators released a report in May 2019 that concluded that Strauss, who had been employed by OSU's athletics department and student health center until he was suspended in 1996, abused at least 177 male student athletes and patients. Strauss died by suicide in 2005.

A spokesman for Jordan called DiSabato's accusations "a total lie."

This will be the first of many, many corrupt politicians that we here at MindBinge will do our civic duty to expose. Please follow along on our journey for truth and justice...

General Discussion / Public or Private, Pro's and Con's

Let the debate begin, as to whether, moving forward, we remain a public or change to a private dark forum.

My initial thought is, if you have a really good hack/workaround that is best left in the dark for the obvious reasons, then let farrider or myself know that it's the reason you vote for a private/dark forum. We fully understand, technology evolves, and it's very hard for some of us more inquisitive folks to not want to figure out how stuff works, just like so many other "white hats" who get paid good money to figure out how to crack something.

Unless that type of situation exists here, then my vote leans toward keeping things wide open and see where this all takes us. If all I ever have is a shoutbox to kid around with farrider, xman, KapperDog, and so many of the others who stumble through here, it'll still be a good time.

Kapper wants us to be a cannabis forum...not a bad idea at all.

The floor is open, my friends, talk among yourselves, LOL!
